2. Intellectual Property, Copyright & Media Usage Rights

  • Ownership of Media & Data: Unless explicitly transferred via a separate, signed written agreement, Ridgeline Site Solutions retains full legal ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights to all photographs, video footage, orthomosaic maps, 3D point clouds, topographic models, raw files, and aerial data captured during any project or service.

  • Client Usage License: Upon full payment for services rendered, clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to download, view, store, print, and use the final delivered media solely for their own internal, personal, or business project needs (e.g., project monitoring, site planning, personal portfolios, or marketing of the specified project).

  • Prohibited Uses: Clients may not resell, sub-license, assign, or transfer ownership of the original media/data to third parties (such as third-party developers, subcontractors, or media outlets) without prior written permission from Ridgeline Site Solutions.

  • Promotional Usage: Ridgeline Site Solutions reserves the right to use non-confidential project media, aerial photographs, and footage for portfolio displays, website content, social media, and marketing materials.

3. Data Accuracy, Surveying Disclaimer & Limitation of Deliverable Liability

  • Informational & Visual Use Only: All aerial imagery, orthomosaic maps, 3D point clouds, topographic representations, elevation models, volumetric estimates, and spatial data provided by Ridgeline Site Solutions are generated for visual context, conceptual planning, and progress-tracking purposes only.

  • Not an Official Engineering or Land Survey: Ridgeline Site Solutions is a commercial UAS operator and site development service; our deliverables do not constitute, nor should they be substituted for, an official boundary survey, engineering plan, or legal property assessment prepared by a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

  • No Guarantee of Precision: While we utilize professional-grade hardware, GPS data, and processing software to maintain high visual accuracy, Ridgeline Site Solutions makes no express or implied warranties regarding the absolute precision, structural tolerance, or mathematical accuracy of any mapping data, elevation contour, or volumetric measurement. Environmental factors (e.g., dense foliage, ground shadows, atmospheric distortion, GPS satellite drift) can affect digital elevation models.

  • Client Assumption of Risk: The client and any third-party users assume 100% of the risk associated with relying on delivered media or data for construction, excavation, grading, architectural design, or property boundary decisions.

  • Release of Liability: Ridgeline Site Solutions, its officers, employees, and subcontractors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or financial damages—including but not limited to excavation errors, design revisions, construction delays, property line disputes, or re-work costs—arising from the use of, or reliance upon, our digital deliverables.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ridgeline Site Solutions, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to use this website.

  • Reliance on any information, graphics, or site data presented on the website.
